Luca Vigliero

At 43 years old, Luca has long dedicated himself to the pursuit of research, which is evident across his many projects.

He undertook his formal studies at the TU Wien and the Faculty of Architecture in Genoa.

After graduating in 2006, he collaborated with the Office for Metropolitan Architecture in Rotterdam. His work at OMA included milestone projects, such as Fondazione Prada Museum & De Rotterdam mixed use tower.

Attracted by the transformative urban environment of the Middle East, he moved to Dubai, where he worked for 4 years for renowned Middle East firm X-Architects.

He returned to Italy, where he collaborated with Studio Massimiliano Fuksas Architetto in Rome and led several projects as Freelance Architect in Europe and ME.

Luca joined Pekins+Will Dubai studio in December 2016 as an Associate, Design Lead position with a focus on mixed-use developments and architectural-scale masterplans. Since joining, Luca quickly rose to be a driving force behind the design ethos of the studio.

He promotes a mature design process that focuses on targeted research and exploration of multiple options to solve the same design problem. In April 2018, Luca was promoted to Senior Associate due to his contribution to the design ethos of the firm and his instrumental role in guiding and mentoring staff.

In June 2019, Luca has joined KEO International Consultant as Design Director to provide a new vision to the Design Division and serves a pivotal role. Luca has quickly proven himself to be a driving force, elevating the design ethos of the studio. Luca has worked on different assets; introducing a design culture across global offices, mentoring young staff and leading senior designers towards a more mature design methodology.

 In May 2023, Luca embarked on a transformative career journey by embracing his innate passion for exploring design in all its intricate shades. His professional trajectory took a significant turn as he assumed a pivotal role within the prestigious DAMAC Group, where he became an integral part of the Concept & Development Division. In the capacity of Vice-President Concept, Luca contributes his design expertise to enrich DAMAC’s development portfolio and drive the division towards design excellence.
