Christopher Fannin is an accomplished urban designer, master planner and landscape architect with a career that spans over 30 years. He has been a practicing professional on projects that span the globe as well as an educator at leading U.S. and U.K universities in the field of landscape architecture. He continues to serve as a visiting critic on design juries and is an active contributor to worldwide industry events.
Christopher has focused on bringing legible form to complex ecological, social and programmatic processes through elegant and sustainable designs. He has a passion for investigating environments from multiple viewpoints and working collaboratively with design teams to bring these places alive for future generations. Before joining KEO, Chris was with HOK, an award-winning firm with 23 offices across the globe, holding several senior positions most recently as Senior Vice President and Global Director of Planning at HOK and member of the HOK’s Board of Directors and the Management Board.
In his capacity as the Senior Principal of InSite, he collaborates with a diverse, talented team of urban designers, master planners and landscape architects across a broad range of project types throughout the GCC as well as Europe. Chris is motivated by the desire to craft InSite’s work at all scales from large-scale land use and master planning developments through to discrete detail landscape designs and their implementation.
